To what extent does brazils continuous Industrialisation effect the change of government after 1960?
INTRODUCTION
Brazil has been through consistent stage of industrialisation and urbanisation for the last 60 years. It has seen two types of governments over the last 60 years, many changes to the constitution and 15 different presidents. From 1964 to 1988 Brazil was under a military dictatorship. During the 22 year long period the people had no power or say in any of the governments actions. In 1989 a constitution was made which made the military pull out and since then the government has been a federal government.
Brazil has been through a constant phase of industrialising, and urbanising over the course of the last 60 years. Brazil's government has not generally been kind to the Brazilian people. From the mid 1960s to the late 1980s, Brazil was being controlled by a military dictatorship. The totalitarian military took complete control of the government, not letting the people to have any say in the countries matters. After 1989 because of a new constitution the military government pulled out and a federal government was formed and became in charge of Brazil.

How did the communist military rise to power and maintain it?
- They have had many communistic governments but the military one was the only one after 1950.
- Before the military took over Brazil was a democracy
- The democracy gradually failed and the military took over
- The military took total control in 1964 and replaced all the heads of state with military generals including the president
- People of Brazil had no say in any of the countries affairs
- All wealth classes were abolished and everyone lived as equals
- The military had complete control of Brazil for 22 years from 1964 to 1988
